In June of 2022, Milcon Commercial Concrete began foundations on a 370,000 square foot warehouse in Lima, OH. This was a unique project because of the heavy nature of the foundations, most of the footings 6 foot wide and 16 inches thick. The foundation walls varied in heights from 7 foot tall to 17 foot tall, along with door openings for all of the docks. The slab on grade was 6 inches thick and was completed in pour sizes of roughly 35,000 square feet and we were able to use our Somero 840 and 940 Laser Screed as well as our Bobcat Track Skidsteer with a laser grading blade. There was also 25,000 square feet of exterior concrete as well. This project consisted of over 11,000 cubic yards of concrete.
