Your Role as Lead Estimator
- Take charge of the entire estimating process, develop accurate bids, and strategize winning proposals.
- Interpret project plans and specs, coordinate seamlessly with skilled PMs, foremen, the owner, and valued partners.
- Support project management functions: contract review, submittals, scheduling, and efficient resource assignment.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, owners, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring project profitability and excellence.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field—or comparable experience.
- 5+ years’ hands-on civil construction estimating, with specialties in utilities, earthwork, or roadway projects (preferred).
- Proficiency in HeavyBid, MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook), and blueprint/spec review.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- A motivated, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for collaborative problem-solving.
